Molex engineer Mithun Narayan has taken full advantage of this opportunity.

Narayan is currently our Assistant Manager of Product Engineering in Bangalore, India, where he is able to employ his problem-solving skills and his love of science to help Molex continue to grow our product offering. Leading a team of talented engineers gives him the opportunity to work with a diverse group to come to the best solution.

“I’ve come to realize that what really keeps me in this role is the satisfaction of working with my team as we find creative ways to overcome challenges,” says Narayan. “It’s cool to know that we work on cable assembly that’s installed in anything from toy cars and high-end cars to beds and self-lacing shoes.”

Growing up, Narayan always enjoyed math and physics. After excelling in these subjects in school, he went off to get his Mechanical Engineering degree from Govt. College of Engineering in Kannur, Kerala, India.

Over the years, Narayan has learned that the key to overcoming challenges is keeping calm and listening to others. He promotes brainstorming and open discussion help to identify the problem and find the correct solution.

“The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do!” says Narayan. “It’s OK that you fail a little along the way. In fact, some lessons are only learned from failure.”
